All around the Palazzo, there are many reading areas surrounding the twelve rooms and the two apartments. Meandering paths weave through the delightful gardens leading to an array of secluded seating areas and loungers so guests can relax under the shade of the trees.

In order to avoid any kind of noise and to give guests the feeling of a jump back to the past, we have not provided our rooms with televisions, but we have replaced them with hundreds of books and magazines. All around the Palazzo, in the rooms as well as in the common areas, guests can find several books, magazines, newspapers, maps and guides in different languages. Borrow a book and use one of the lounges to relax.

Twice a week, a BBQ is organized: depending on the day, there is meat or fish accompanied with a huge buffet of side dishes prepared according the traditional local way. All guests are welcome to take part and enjoy the fresh Mediterranean fish or the special local meat: it is a chance to eat, drink and socialize meeting the other guests of Palazzo Guglielmo. 

Breakfast (included in the accommodation rate) is served poolside or in the living room, depending on the weather conditions, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. Our breakfast consists of milk, coffee, cappuccino, cookies, homemade cakes, fresh seasonal fruit, eggs and bacon, juices…

Fresh Fish is the protagonist of every dish at “Casa dell’Angelo”. Our menu is inspired by the traditional seafood cuisine of Salento: we propose classic and revisited dishes influenced by other cooking styles. The key element is always Mediterranean fish. Sea-breams, snappers, common pandora, anchovies, prawns, squids, mussels, sea urchins, cuttlefishes, tuna, swordfish, stone-bass. Fresh fish it is a real daily obsession for us!

Heir of an ancient wine tradition that has its roots in the Greek culture, Apulia has always been one of the most abundant wine regions of Italy and the beating heart of Mediterranean viticulture.

It is witnessed by numerous local and regional vineyards such as: Uva di Troia, Primitivo, Negroamaro, Susumaniello, Bombino Nero, Malvasia Nera, Bianco d’Alessano, Minutolo, all vineyards covering thousands of hectares from Daunia to Serre Salentine that give birth to a great variety of intense red, white and rosé wines. Do not hesitate to ask for some advice, we are willing to suggest the perfect wine for you.

Families and kids are welcome to Palazzo Guglielmo. The suites and the self-catering apartments are perfect to accommodate families with kids. Moreover, in the garden you can find a private area where children can play with a trampoline and a lot of toys. Upon request, a baby sitting service is also available.
